A Cruise and a Farewell

In the middle of May, we will board a cruise ship in Seattle and head North to Alaska. For six plus days we will travel the Inland Passage, stopping here and there for sightseeing. This has been a goal of mine for many years. For one reason or another, I never get around to it before. Now I’m really looking… click here to continue

Naturally, all this lovely weather has appeared just as I’m preparing to leave for San Diego, where a descendant of Noah… click here to continue

Tripping

Getting ready to go on a trip was once a matter of throwing a few things into a bag and leaving. Now that I’ve lived three-quarters of a century, it seems I do everything more slowly. It takes me at least a week to get ready for a week’s trip.

It’s not entirely my fault, however. I spent… click here to continue
