A Good DayThere is something about gliding through water that is pure joy. This morning I attended my first arthritis water exercise class at Sherwood YMCA. I arrived early and was able to spend twenty or thirty minutes swimming and stretching before the class began. Some of the pre-class time was spent being introduced to other class members. One woman I have… click here to continue March, 16th, 2005 Chit Chat and ChineseThanks to a traffic jam we encountered when returning from Portland today, we had a good Chinese lunch (and the leftovers for dinner). We had hoped to spend long enough eating that the traffic would clear away completely. I attempted to make my co-payment with my debit card. There was a delay while the receptionist punched in her numbers. Then she handed me the little machine to put my PIN number in. My head emptied itself onto the carpet. Numbers spilled in all directions. If any of them… click here to continue March, 11th, 2005 Enjoying Early SpringAfter my visit to the chiropractor today, I allowed myself to relax outdoors, sit in the rose arbor and read a magazine. The weather was gorgeous. A bird complained loudly every time Al and I spoke. I couldn’t see the bird and I’m not good at identifying birdcalls. It was obvious he resented our intrusion into his space. March, 10th, 2005 |
