Creative Crow and Other Observations

Today I watched a crow scoop bugs from a neighbor’s roof using a stick (actually a small tree branch with tributary branches still attached). When I finally figured out what he was doing, he flew away, carrying the cumbersome stick with him. I’ve seen similar scenes on television, but never “in the wild,” so to speak.

It made… click here to continue

Promotion and Locomotion

My books have recently been added to the NorthWest Writers’ web site:{http://www.northwestwriters.com). This is a fairly new web site created to feature writers in this area. I’m quite pleased with the way the books are promoted on this site and find myself in good company there. Getting Organized

It is my hope that it will be easier to find a specific file, if this project ever is completed.

It boggles my mind how… click here to continue

Time on My Hands

Recently I heard myself humming in the shower an old love song, “Time on My Hands.” I started wondering when the last bit of time on my hands occurred in my life. I stopped wearing a timepiece about a year ago, but that?’ a side issue.

Since I became an adult, I don’t remember ever having time on… click here to continue

Ruminations as a Birthday Approaches

It seems as if, when I open the drapes each morning and spring into a new day, I jump faster toward the end of the day, week, month and year. It is mind-boggling how much more quickly time goes with each birthday.

Notwithstanding the fact that my step is less springy and my body less agile than when… click here to continue
