From the Mundane to the Magnificent

The two highlights of Monday, May 09, were getting my desk cleaned off and watching a video on covered bridges, not necessarily in that order. That is the order in which they occurred, not the order of their importance.

Long ago I discovered that papers piled high on a desk can be sorted rather rapidly. Usually most of… click here to continue

Busy Saturday

We had our family celebration of two birthdays and Mother’s Day last night. Al and I had spent the afternoon in Cascade Locks. Al was helping his niece and her husband get ready to re-rent the house that was formerly Al’s home. They bought it from him a little over a year ago. That might be a good project to take on the cruise on the 14th. We like to keep our luggage down to a minimum, so I won’t be taking… click here to continue

Play before Work

The pool opened in our park today and I was the first one in it. The water temperature was perfect and the air temperature was not bad, with sun breaks now and then. I had a great swim and a chat with the park manager who was still working on the pool.

I came back and worked on… click here to continue
