Alaska Cruise (Continued)

We headed North through Puget Sound and Admiralty Inlet, then West through the Strait of Juan de Fuca and on to the Pacific Ocean bound for Juneau. Sunday evening I enjoyed a musical extravaganza in the Princess Theater.

Last Minute Details

Today was for last minute shopping and pulling loose ends together to get ready for our trip. It went by much too quickly. I’m sure the trip will also.

During a late afternoon sun break, I got in a swim in our park pool. I hope to do that again tomorrow.

Three Days Before the Cruise

Packing and organizing for our cruise next week has been interspersed between other activities all this week. It’s easier for me to do it that way, than in one big frantic session when I’m sure to forget something important. Adapting to a new piece of luggage this trip is interesting. Poem a Month Club

Getting back into the swing of writing poetry has been very slow. I wrote one last month and one today. William Stafford wrote a poem every day. However, I’m quite sure he did very little cooking, cleaning or laundry. He probably didn’t do his own packing when he traveled, either.
