Yesterday afternoon we had a very short power failure that somehow goofed up our Broadband connection and we haven’t been able to get back on line at the high speed since then. We can use the phone line connection, however.

Today I did a little routine household maintenance (laundry and dishes). That was after a morning swim.

Driving Refresher Course

We completed the driving refresher course today. Sitting for nearly four hours two days in a row is punishing to bodies our age. The youngsters, 55 to 65, didn’t seem to mind as much, although most of the women complained about the cold temperature of the room. We dressed more warmly today, so weren’t as uncomfortable in that respect.

Busy Wednesday

This morning we spent four hours in a chilly conference room at Meridian Park Hospital, taking the 55 Alive Driver Refresher Course sponsored by AARP. The name of the course is being changed because it’s being offered to younger drivers now, also. We will go back tomorrow for another four hours to finish up. Mixed Media

Today I found diskettes containing many missing poems and articles that somehow never got moved into new computers. Now I need to set aside a block of time to get them moved. With a flash drive, it shouldn’t be nearly as time consuming as it once was. The bonus is that the flash drive can be a backup, as well.… click here to continue
