Hustle and Bustle

We are getting down to the wire and making lists. Old heads are forgetful. We leave on our European trip on Wednesday. Our Neighbor

Today Al becomes the same age I am. Since April, his official age has been one year less than mine, but now he has caught up, so to speak.

Location,Location,Location vs. Timing,Timing,Timing

In real estate sales I’ve always heard the buy word is location. But, apparently, that’s only partly true when selling mobile/manufactured homes in parks. Two years ago I tried to sell mine and couldn’t give it away, even at the price I had paid, that seemed to be a bargain when I bought.

Editing, Errands and Deadheading

Today was a mixed bag of editing, errands and fussing with flowers. That is, after I finished drying and folding bedding. Blankets dried outdoors smell so wonderful. We don’t have clotheslines, so we use a folding rack.

Laundry and Packing

I spent several hours today allegedly helping my daughter with her move. My level of energy does not support miracles these days, so I’m not sure how much my assistance accomplished. Life Happenings

After this afternoon’s critique group meeting, I’m anxious to dig into rewriting a couple of my memoir stories. In particular, I realized how much is missing from the account of my 1998 trip to South Africa. Unfortunately, necessary chores stand in my way, but I hope by Friday to be able to work on those pieces.
