A Busy FridayToday began with a surprise phone call from an old friend passing through Tigard on her way from grandchildren-sitting in Portland to Corvallis, where she lives. There have been many others. When I was in my late teens, I went to a party where a young man from South America was telling about life in his country. He said… click here to continue September, 11th, 2005 Writers Faire and Other ActivitiesWe had a nice visit with my daughter, my son and daughter-in-law this afternoon. With busy schedules, it’s hard to get together very often. We enjoyed sharing our pictures of the trip with them. We were able to share some of the abundant supply of vegetables from Al’s sister’s garden with them, as well. We always enjoy visiting with my… click here to continue September, 10th, 2005 |
