Home Again Day After

My unpacking is unfinished, but I did do three loads of laundry today and one load of dishes. I did very little else besides taking the film in to be processed and it will be ready tomorrow.

I think my elderly relatives are as cute as any grandchildren might be. Their antics are humorous at times, and sometimes… click here to continue

Back Home Again

Back home to rainland tonight. I tried to bring warm sun home from the California desert, but it never works. We just spent seven days in California and I’ll do more detailed reports on our sightseeing when I’m rested a little. We went to Death Valley and traveled from its below sea level depth up the slopes of Mt. Whitney… click here to continue

Neighborhood Changes

Last week the walls were vibrating on the house next door with loud rock music in the middle of the night. Tonight the place is empty. No people are there anyway. There is still junk scattered through the rooms. The carport was cleaned up today. Several truckloads of stuff were hauled away. No one seems to be sure what… click here to continue

Writers Faire Report

Yesterday, shortly after Noon, I drove to the Multnomah Arts Center to participate in Writers Faire, a book-signing event for writers from all over the Pacific Northwest. Some are members of Oregon Writers Colony; some belong to Willamette Writers, and a few may not be members of either organization. The latter group rents tables and the member writers are allowed… click here to continue
