Computer Glitches

A lot of weird happenings are occurring in this household around the computers. If I didn’t know better, I’d almost think we were haunted by the ghost of a frustrated programmer. Then again, maybe a computer leprechaun climbed in my tote bag and hitchhiked back from Ireland with us.

Al has been having computer problems too numerous… click here to continue

Lift that Arm, Swing that Leg

This morning I ventured out onto the frigid highway to the Sherwood YMCA where I swam a few laps and participated in the arthritis water exercise class. The warm water was great and I felt stimulated and ready to roll when I left there.

We had a fun evening with Al’s niece and her husband from Cascade Locks. They brought pizza that we baked and shared. Then Al and Bruce played chess while I taught Virginia the card game I learned in Seattle, “Spite and Malice” We did more chattering than serious card playing, but the chess players were more dedicated to their game.… click here to continue

Busy, Busy

It was a busy day today. A trip to the eye doctor with Al so I could drive him home after his eyes were dilated, a quick lunch, and off to writing class, and most of my energy was consumed. We were expecting Al’s niece and husband to come by this evening, but he had to work too late,… click here to continue
