Olympic Distractions

In spite of the fact that I still can’t breathe through my nose, my muse returned today and allowed me to get some writing done. I’ve added another travel page to my website and have one more nearly ready to go.

My favorite spectator sports are figure skating and ballroom dancing. Tonight is ice dancing night at… click here to continue

Wonders Without End

I have hopes that I will get out of vacation mode one of these days and become ambitious enough to get back to writing. Being sick for a while can really start lazy bad habits. Deadlines or Dead Lines

About eight or nine years ago I went to a writing workshop in Yachats where a newspaper columnist made a presentation. I got all excited about writing a column, went home and wrote a few for practice, and then started thinking about it. I faced the fact that I hate deadlines. Why would I take on such a project… click here to continue

Reflections on My Age

As I look forward to my 77th birthday, I reflect that many more years have passed than the number I look forward to. However, I’ve always considered 3 and 7 to be lucky numbers for me. Several combinations of those numbers have been good years for me.

Most recently, when I was 73, my book, Find Romance… click here to continue
