Easter Sunday

Either a serious head cold, sinus infection, or spring pollen allergies weigh my head down tonight. I really don’t care which one it is, just want to get over it. If I can’t sleep tonight, even with two pillows, I’ll sit in a recliner so I can breathe through my nose and rest.

We had a really delicious… click here to continue

Winter Sneaked Back

Such a wintry day! If it weren’t for all the blossoms on the trees outside, I’d think it was November. I won’t be venturing out until time to amble down to the clubhouse for the potluck tonight. I changed my offering from fruit salad to spaghetti because of the blustery weather.

The internet offers unlimited research possibilities on almost every imaginable subject. None of my books would have been possible without computers.

The Song is Over, But the Words Linger On

The mystery is solved. The lines I quoted from a song yesterday are from Tennessee Ernie Ford’s hit, “Sixteen Tons.” It took the combined brain power of several of my relatives to help figure it out, but my Texan brother-in-law knew it right away. Al knew it also and managed to come up with most of the words, as… click here to continue
