Home Again--Safe and Well

I left home for the hinterlands determined to stay well. I packed a lotta pills with me, including Airborne, a new product I hadn’t tried before and Pepto Bismol tablets. Either they, or my good intentions, kept me from feeling ill. I was often tired and achy and had minor stomach upsets, but nothing major. We saw far away places… click here to continue

And Away We Go

Well, we signed all the papers to sell the house today. The last step will be approval of the buyers by the park. The couple is a bit young, she 54+ and he about 50. We have some nibbles on our house listing. A couple who walked through on the spur of the moment the other night is interested in… click here to continue

Timing is Everything

There is a strange fact apparent to me recently--and I have noticed it before from time to time--that the busier I am, the more I get done. With all the packing for our trip, packing for a move, etc., I seem to get writing done and some reading.

When I’m not so busy, I can always find… click here to continue

A Little Excitement

We had a little excitement around here today. Our travel agent called to tell us she’d obtained a free upgrade for us to a balcony stateroom on a higher deck than our original cabin. That will definitely make the cruise more enjoyable.

Then, about 7:00 p.m. when Al was playing chess with our neighbor, Dave, the doorbell… click here to continue
