Got to Get to Work

It seems as if I have a million things to do to get ready to sell this place and move, as well as leave on our two-week trip next Monday night. If I only get 8 or 10 done every day, there’s no way I’m gonna make it. But I’ve always worked better under pressure.

It’s Just the Gypsy in My Soul

Whenever we get these big drops in temperature in just a day or a couple of days, I start wanting to live in a warmer climate. I’ve been cold all day. Now I have a heater blowing on my legs and it’s putting me to sleep. The high was 77 a few days ago and 58 today.

One was spreading a gelatin product over the soap scum on a bathtub. The other was cleaning out the cabinets above the washer… click here to continue

Blogging Along

Reading other people’s blogs, especially writers’ blogs, has filled my last couple of hours. The more I read, the more I’m convinced you have to be at least a little crazy to be a writer. You have to be even more crazy to want to be widely published and read and jump through all the hoops necessary to achieve… click here to continue

Stuffing Stuff

The prospect of showing our house and offering it for sale is highly motivating for getting spring-cleaning done. I’m amazed at how decisive I can be when Al holds something up and says, “What do you want to do with this?” I’m giving my rubber knee boots to Goodwill. If a tsunami hits, someone else will be wearing them… click here to continue
