Cloud Pictures

Having inadvertently endured several weeks of dial-up internet service, I find myself with long waits for downloads or uploads or just getting on line. Fortunately, there is entertainment out my window. It’s been years since I spent time identifying the pictures that cloud formations make—tenuous as sand castles.

This morning there was a knit winter hat with a… click here to continue

Closed Captioning

Recently I’ve been using the closed captioning on the television during the brief times that I watch it. I highly recommend it as an exercise to keep an aging brain agile.  The quality of much of it is so poor that it’s a real challenge to imagine what the voice actually said, when you read the caption. Later this week I hope to get pictures added to the journals. The photos need to be re-sized and I’ve obviously been busy with other things lately.

A swim before dinner rejuvenated… click here to continue

Welcome, Cool Breezes

We awoke to a cloud cover and cool breezes—64 degrees in the living room. The high today is predicted to be only 83 or so. Such an improvement over recent weather is more than welcome. I took advantage of the cool morning to run two loads of laundry and dry them.

For at least two thirds of my… click here to continue
