Communication - A Four Letter Word?Communication doesn’t look like a four letter word. But, my attempts to communicate with the present-day service industries certainly inspire a few. I won’t bore you with the long sad story of trying to get our high-speed internet service installed at our new location. This is my second experience with two different “communications” companies and I’m convinced they don’t know… click here to continue July, 19th, 2006 I’ll Do That Next WinterThis morning I finished unpacking the last three boxes in the living room. Maybe the sight of me in the morning is a rude awakening? If I believed in evil spirits, I’d be sure this place is haunted. At 1:11 a.m. today, I was just drifting off to… click here to continue July, 14th, 2006 Resting My FeetEarly afternoon on Thursday and, although I slept late, I’m slowing down early. Yesterday I started about 7:00 a.m. and worked late and got a lot done. But getting that much accomplished two days in a row doesn’t seem practical or even possible. Especially when I wasn’t out of bed until about 9:00 today. Getting clear spaces… click here to continue July, 13th, 2006 |
