What are They Thinking

I wrote this rant last night, but couldn’t get on line to post it. Tonight by hook or by crook, and with Al’s assistance, I was able to dial up. I don’t have enough energy left to write another blog entry for today, so this will have to do.

Sometimes I have nightmares that are horrifying or, at… click here to continue

By George or Jupiter or Whomever, I Think We’re Going to Make It

We are nearly out of this place now. We took time out today (a couple of hours) to have birthday cake and ice cream for my son-in-law. He and my daughter, my son and his wife all came over to see our new place and visit for a bit. I almost forgot Handsome, my son’s big dog, who takes… click here to continue

We have the ceiling fan and an oscillating fan running and will leave them going all night. Al has taken over about 6 or 7 station wagon loads… click here to continue

Another Day, Another Delay

The carpet cleaners won’t be doing our job until tomorrow morning. They claim we can start moving in tomorrow afternoon, however. Cross all our fingers. This is one case in which anticipation is not half of the fun. I fear there ain’t gonna be any fun until the move is all over.

My eye exam went well… click here to continue

Happy Birthday to our Country

We had a quiet morning puttering with our computers and playing cards. Al’s niece from Seattle called from her parents’ house in Molalla to invite us to a barbecue in late afternoon. We drove out there in traffic that was so light we arrived early. There were several other guests to meet before dinner. One was a high school… click here to continue
