Busy Time

Yesterday we drove to Eugene to visit with Al’s son and friend, a granddaughter and her husband, and their year-old son, Al’s great-grandson. We all had dinner together at a Chinese restaurant where we were able to chat a bit. After dinner, they all came back to our air-conditioned motel for more visiting. Sunday Evening - Hot Sidewalk

With the aid of our computer guru, I got a lot of deadwood cleared off my desktop computer today. I’m anxious to see how many files I deleted. He will be back Tuesday to help us get all set up for wireless DSL in case we get it reconnected.

Computersville

An area in which you are guaranteed to become hopelessly lost, confused and panicky. This morning I thought I had misplaced a vital installation CD for our Broadband service. We will need it in the event our “communications” company ever gets around to reactivating it on our phone line, or at least so they told me.

Another Scorcher

I hoped the clouds that came last night would give us relief, but they ran away today. Although it’s not as hot as yesterday, it seems just as uncomfortable. I sure lose my ambition in the heat. The Hottest Day

A lot of clouds formed toward the end of the day and we were treated to an Arizona type sunset that I watched from the swimming pool. Although it has cooled some, the humidity has risen, so the difference isn’t noticeable. Actually this brick building insulates well against the heat and has not been miserably uncomfortable yet.
