Just Another Summer DayMy son’s surgery went very well today and I had a long phone visit with him this evening. His wife’s audition went well also, and I’ll learn more about the program she’ll appear in later. Sitting in a hospital waiting room for hours (does anyone ever get into surgery at the time scheduled?) was interesting. With all… click here to continue 0 Comment(s) about this entry. | Permalink August, 24th, 2006 Stimulating Dormant Brain CellsFor an old lady with no grandchildren, it’s nice to be around to help my middle-aged kids out. When I was caring for my mother and she… click here to continue 0 Comment(s) about this entry. | Permalink August, 20th, 2006 Space CaseIt has been called to my attention that my blog has been neglected the past two days. Thursday night I got home too late to write it and Friday it fell out of my head. It only takes me one day to break a regular habit or one day to start a bad one. What can I say? … click here to continue0 Comment(s) about this entry. | Permalink August, 19th, 2006 Computer v. OperatorThis old computer likes to throw a scare in to me periodically, especially if I haven’t backed up everything recently, so it acted up tonight. It refused to save my blog entry, then locked up so I had to restart and lose the document. It was just a few lines telling about my lazy, relaxing day spent… click here to continue 0 Comment(s) about this entry. | Permalink August, 16th, 2006 |
