Invasion of the Furniture Carriers

A small army of Floyd’s children and grandchildren arrived at his apartment this afternoon with a U-Haul trailer and emptied the contents of his place into the trailer. Bartering

We bartered some muscle from my son-in-law in trade for a light lunch and the use of a recliner, which he and my daughter took home with them. Relationships

Tonight in the swimming pool, I met a woman whose parents bought one of the first houses here in King City and are still living in it. Clearing the Jungle

Richard, of the jungle, came over today and cleared away the tangled wires around my computer. He set up my wireless router, and I’m now wireless. Giving Back a Tree, or at Least a Branch

In recent years I’ve complained that the computer, rather than reducing paper consumption, has probably increased it. But, my activities today, lead me to believe I may be wrong about that.

Today I entered cable land on my way to wireless computering. I don’t even have to know what I’m doing, it appears, as long as someone does.
