Home Again

Just a few lines tonight to let those who are interested know my youngest sister and I are back from Seattle. We drove back today in lovely sunshine, but chilly air. We will travel to Eugene and Cottage Grove tomorrow for more genealogy information. Today we stopped in Shelton for a very short visit with Margaret Brown, a third… click here to continue

Last Day in Seattle

Today Margaret and I read the Sunday paper after breakfast while Bea went to church. Bea’s sister-in-law Bev, who has been our friend since high school, dropped by after church for coffee, cookies and conversation.

Today was very busy, got a haircut, got new tires, spent two hours with writer friends in my critique group. They liked my poem and made a few suggestions for minor tweaking.

The rest of the day was… click here to continue

New Hardware

Today I purchased a new all-in-one printer, copier, scanner. It took most of the day to pick it out, get it home, set it up, discover I couldn’t install the printer cartridges, take it back, and go through the whole routine again. I must say it was gratifying that it took three tall young clerks to figure out how to… click here to continue
