Is it Time?

I may be just about ready to stop writing a blog entry every single day. My life doesn’t seem that eventful at the moment. Also, I want to spend more time recording previous events from over the years in my life, ala memoir stories. There is probably too much trivia on the world wide web as it is, and… click here to continue

A Quiet Day at Home

We spent a quiet day at home. I did a few chores. We managed to get the fresh Christmas tree into the stand and water it well. It will rest on the deck outside for a week or so while we accumulate a few decorations and make a space for it inside.

That reminds me it’s time… click here to continue

Christmas Preparation

We were fortunate that someone left just as we were being directed… click here to continue

Thanksgiving Dinner

In reading over the last couple of blog entries, I see that I’ve omitted mentioning the wonderful dinner and visit we had on Thursday with four of Floyd’s five children and their families. One son lives in Atlanta, and couldn’t be there. Another son, from Seattle, came down with his family. We were a large and noisy group, enjoying… click here to continue

A Swimming Good Time

We had a great time today. Two of Floyd’s children, one daughter-in-law, and several grandchildren came over in the late morning and we all went swimming in the King City Pool. The adults also took advantage of the spa hot tub. After exhausting ourselves in the pool, we came back here and had sandwiches and drinks while watching the first… click here to continue
