Back to NormalLife is returning to normal once again. I’m back home to stay for the foreseeable future, the swimming pool is back in operation so I got my exercise tonight, and the election is over so the dinnertime phone calls have ceased. Maybe those millions of phone calls were responsible for getting the voters out. If so, they were worth… click here to continue 0 Comment(s) about this entry. | Permalink November, 09th, 2006 Heady StuffOn November 7th, in my 77th year, not only was the first member of a new generation in our family born, making me a great grand aunt, but nearly every one of my choices on the ballot prevailed. We had a good visit with her and her boyfriend and a great spaghetti dinner at the annual fundraiser for the… click here to continue 0 Comment(s) about this entry. | Permalink November, 05th, 2006 Rainy, Windy SaturdayIn spite of a long nap in the afternoon, today was fairly productive. I sorted stacks of paperwork, filed most of it, threw some away, and prioritized the “to do” stack. Some laundry, and some shopping took up several hours. I almost forgot the most satisfying job I did--pulling clothes out of my closet into a tall… click here to continue 0 Comment(s) about this entry. | Permalink November, 04th, 2006 A Short ReportTomorrow I’ll definitely unpack my bag and put it away. I also hope to clean closets and give away a bunch of clothes to make some space. Today I got distracted by the Arts & Crafts/Christmas Bazaar next door. I did some shopping there and then went to the pharmacy and a grocery store to pick up… click here to continue 0 Comment(s) about this entry. | Permalink November, 03rd, 2006 |
