Life is returning to normal once again. I’m back home to stay for the foreseeable future, the swimming pool is back in operation so I got my exercise tonight, and the election is over so the dinnertime phone calls have ceased. Lucky Seven

I’ve always thought of seven as a lucky number. I have nothing to base that theory on. I don’t remember ever winning anything connected with that number, it’s just a superstitious belief. Wild Weather Day

We’ve had wild weather all day today and our weather reporter predicts another six to twelve hours of heavy rain before it turns to showers. He called this deluge a “pineapple express” from out of the Pacific where it scooped up the remnants of a typhoon. Rainy, Windy Saturday

In spite of a long nap in the afternoon, today was fairly productive. I sorted stacks of paperwork, filed most of it, threw some away, and prioritized the “to do” stack. Some laundry, and some shopping took up several hours.
