Giving Thanks

Among the many things I have to be thankful for are, of course, first and foremost my family--children, sisters, cousins, and a few remaining aunts and uncles. A loving companion to celebrate holidays and ordinary days with is another person for whom I am thankful.

I also appreciate having a warm, dry and comfortable place to live,… click here to continue

Another Anniversary of an Assassination

Reading about the JFK assassination on the web today reminds me of where I was when I heard about it. My second husband and I were living in a small house on S.E. 52nd Avenue near White Stag on Johnson Creek Boulevard. She believes that all the hype about married people having better lives, is just that. I suspect raising the question of who has it better could spark a lot of controversy among members of all groups:… click here to continue

Slow Day at Home

Today was computer cleaning day. I deleted dozens of files, maybe even hundreds that I don’t need any more. I’m sure there are still hundreds left that need to go. I dug out my flash drive and determined that I’ve forgotten exactly how to use it. I did find a lot of stuff on it that I can pick… click here to continue
