Oops

When I posted tonight’s blog, I noted the absence of the one I wrote on the 14th, night before last. I?’ like to use the excuse that the power wasn’t working well enough to get it online, but I suspect that the writer was actually at fault. Anyway, I’ll throw it in now.

The bad news tonight… click here to continue

We’re Lit Up

Yesterday we finally got our tree lit up and decorated with as much stuff as I intend to put on it. We picked up enough new and used ornaments at Goodwill to make it look relatively respectable. I really like the tiny low-energy multi-colored lights that don’t heat up. I thought I would continue the suspense by waiting to… click here to continue

But, as I’ve mentioned before, we were given a lovely one and so today we got it inside and on a table and Floyd strung those tiny low energy lights around it and… click here to continue

On a Roll

What is so rare as a high production day? I got on a hyper-energetic roll today and starting knocking off tasks one after the other. I’ll probably need three days to recover.

I’m not a big celebrator of the hype of Christmas, but since we were given a lovely tree, I feel we must at least put… click here to continue

Staying Warm

This morning when our housekeeper arrived and Floyd was leaving for work, I jumped in my car and went to the local eatery for a cuppa and an English muffin. I took sections of the Sunday paper along. Every week I strive to get it read by Wednesday, but rarely succeed.

After that, I went window-shopping at a… click here to continue
