Back to Keyboarding

Well, time has flown and I haven’t been back to blog writing for days now. Life goes by even more quickly in Summer than in Winter, but the weather (on good days) makes it much more enjoyable.

Tomorrow the window washers will be here at long last. I can’t believe I put up with dirty windows for… click here to continue

Welcome to the Sun

The sun is back and a welcome sight it is, even if I did have to water today. I don’t know why I keep watering the tomato plant with a crop of one. I could just pick it, make fried green tomato and forget the darned plant. But there are a few blossoms on it that may become tomatoes yet.… click here to continue

I Can Still Remember What an Iron Looks Like

When you come to the end of a very busy day, at my age, you’re pooped. Adding extra watering because of increasingly hot weather just pumps up the workload on the few days I decide to do something useful. This morning while it was still quite cool I actually set up the ironing board. I expected it to be… click here to continue

Born Too Soon

At my age, my 2000 Honda is probably the last new car I’ll ever own. It may be the last car I drive. Now, too late, Honda has state-of-the-art Global Positioning that even includes notification of weather disasters, etc. As far as I know, nearly all new cars have some sort of global positioning system.

All my… click here to continue
