Summer Condensed

My memory is far less than perfect these days, but it seems to me we used to have more comfortable days in the 70’s and 80’s during the summer months than in the past couple of years. Recently, it seems that we get a lot of cloudy, dreary days in the 60’s or low 70’s and a few scorchers, such… click here to continue

Buried Trash or Treasure

Yesterday I dug out of a closet a plastic tub of family letters I was sorting before I moved here a little over two years ago. When I pulled the cardboard box of letters out of the tub, I discovered about a foot high stack of writing labeled, “To be revised.”

This Sunday the clouds have finally lifted outside my window so I can enjoy the intense blue of… click here to continue

Finale-Gathering of the Clan

Before I finish the story of the weekend in Seattle with relatives, I’ll report on the cataract surgery. I am bare-eyed at the computer for the first time tonight. I’m supposed to wear glasses to protect my eye, but the only ones I have at the moment are sunglasses. I put them on when I’m moving around. I’m not to… click here to continue
