On a Scale of One to Ten

So how much does anyone care what happens to Michael Jackson’s fortune? I’m afraid more people care than should. I deplore the fact that he, like some other sad human beings, is the idol of millions.

I could possibly care somewhat about what happens to his children. They’ve not had a very good start and deserve a… click here to continue

Who Are These People

Recently I’ve browsed through a number of blogs, and read some of the news items on the internet. Scrolling down through hundreds of comments, I am alarmed by the hate and vitriol, as well as the apparent lack of knowledge of the comments’ authors. I can’t help but wonder who these people are and whether they spend all their… click here to continue

New Building

I knew that hobos came to the back door for a… click here to continue

Playing Catchup

After being gone for a day and half, I’m caught up now on email, little chores and grocery shopping. I’ll swim and exercise later this evening. Tomorrow I’ll hit a library and pick up some memoir books. Reading some of those should be fun research. Maybe I’ll even look up a how-to-write-a-memoir-book or two, also.

I’m also getting anxious… click here to continue

A Day at the Beach

Yesterday I spent most of the day at a writers’ workshop in Manzanita. I drove over to Wheeler on Friday afternoon, had a great dinner at a new little restaurant that just opened a block from the lodge where I was staying, and spent the evening working at my laptop computer. On the way over I drove through acres… click here to continue
