Health Care

The following was taken from another blog and its original source is on the link below. I’m thinking we’re not the only country without, but I don’t know that for sure. However, it’s pretty awful that we can’t get what most of the rest of the world has. If our senators and congressmen had to go out on the market… click here to continue

News Comments

I can’t believe I just typed 2004 instead of 2009 for the date—wishful thinking to lop a few years off my age, I guess. Maybe it was brought on by going back over pictures and journals from my travels over the last ten years or so. At lunch today, I shared pictures of an Alaskan cruise with my friends from… click here to continue

Movies

I seldom watch movies these days. Most of the modern ones are so full of four-letter words that are strewn around unnecessarily, in my opinion, that I don’t enjoy them. Having lost just the few pounds I have seems to make me notice the cold… click here to continue

Lure of Sunday Television

Early this morning I discovered a figure skating competition on NBC, followed by a Pavarotti special on OPB. My usual Sunday morning swim fell by the wayside with such strong competition.

The fact that I awoke with muscle weakness in one leg cinched the deal. The statin drug I take to control cholesterol and triglycerides may be causing side… click here to continue

Treasure Hunt

Yesterday I began looking for a document I created several years ago. I couldn’t find “Things I Wonder About” on either computer, or on backup CD’s or DVD’s. I decided it must be on my flash drive so I went to my little lockbox and the flash drive wasn’t there. I haven’t looked at it for months, so I thought… click here to continue
