I’ve missed the free monthly musical programs here in King City the last few months just because I haven’t been paying attention. Our T.O.P.S. club was invited to prepare and serve refreshments at the program that took place this morning, so I couldn’t forget about it. I had to be there.

Welcome Summer

Our summer has belatedly arrived. On this third day of hot weather, I turned on the air conditioner about an hour ago. Since it’s set for 80 degrees, it hasn’t lowered the temperature in here, but it, along with a ceiling fan and a smaller fan, is moving the air to make it feel cooler.

Horrible Secrets

There is very little information in the media about the terrible way our civilized society treats its mentally ill members. Our newspaper this week has been very depressing to me personally. Chilly Holiday

Here it is July 4thd and too chilly to sit on the deck with a cold drink and read. Maybe with a hot toddy or hot tea, but I gave up and came back inside. Friday we had half an inch of rain in Portland and an inch in Vancouver, across the Columbia River.
