Buried Trash or Treasure

Yesterday I dug out of a closet a plastic tub of family letters I was sorting before I moved here a little over two years ago. When I pulled the cardboard box of letters out of the tub, I discovered about a foot high stack of writing labeled, “To be revised.”

I have mixed feelings about the… click here to continue

A Little Excitement for a Change

Some good news, some a little sad. I just received an email from a writer who had asked me to contribute to a book she was working on. She is asking now for my mailing address so she can send me a copy of the book when it comes out, so I assume it is forthcoming.

I’m supposed to wear glasses to protect my eye, but the only ones I have at the moment are sunglasses. I put them on when I’m moving around. I’m not to… click here to continue

Part Two - Gathering of the Clan

We arrived at my sister’s house in Lake Forest Park, north of Seattle. She lives in a lovely manufactured home surrounded by trees and flowers on a steep hillside. Another sister lives nearby, and she and her husband and one of her sons joined us for dinner. We had a great visit, then I drove back to my motel.
