Polluted Political Waters

It seems to me that Senator McCain is inadvertently aiding his opponent with his blatant campaign lies. It appears that swimming in polluted political waters for many years, can taint even a stalwart, formerly moral man. One who was, as he repeatedly points out, a military hero. Therefore, contrary to what the Republicans would have us believe, we could… click here to continue

Indian Summer

We are enjoying an Indian Summer with high temperatures approximately fifteen degrees above normal for this time of year. We spent yesterday relaxing in and out of a pool and reading in the shade. For the past two weeks I’ve been working on getting rid of a queen bed in the office/guest/bedroom. We bought a sofa bed to replace it… click here to continue

Triggers

This has nothing to do with guns. I’m a confirmed gun hater. The only triggers in my life are mental triggers. Words or actions that strike my memory bank and bring back incidents that happened long ago and have been forgotten.

Once in a while I’ll look at a full moon and remember how that moon looked… click here to continue

Book Review

I just finished reading a novel that may give me nightmares. It comes so close to what I suspect is truth that I find it very scary. Redemption by Lee Jackson, an American writer presently residing in New Zealand, is set in a tiny town in Montana, a most unlikely spot to become the center of national attention in… click here to continue
