The Very Old and the NewFor many years I’ve been fascinated by the Mayan civilization history. I had the good fortune to visit Mayan ruins in Belize on a Caribbean cruise. Communication is universal and constant. The protests in the 1960’s we heard about on the radio or television and in newspapers and magazines. Now we have the internet, Facebook and other online communication sites, Twitter, etc. Here is a sample of what we can learn with… click here to continue 0 Comment(s) about this entry. | Permalink October, 15th, 2011 Nein Nein Nein to Republican Reverse Robin HoodsWe need to say a loud “NO” to Republican fat cats and their “simple” taxation plans to employ reverse Robin Hood tactics and steal from the poor to pay the rich. How dumb do they think we are? If I weren’t so old, I’d be marching with the Wall Street protestors. One of my friends, a few years younger, took… click here to continue 0 Comment(s) about this entry. | Permalink October, 13th, 2011 Do You Suppose?Could there be a secret contest that no one knows about except the television networks to see who can produce the worst sitcom? Am I the only person who thinks the new shows get worse every season? Once in a while, a hit pops up, but I can’t think of any I’ve seen recently. I did enjoy Boston… click here to continue 0 Comment(s) about this entry. | Permalink October, 11th, 2011 |
