Catch-Up

Today was a catch-up day, for laundry and miscellaneous chores. Catching up on sleep was also a priority. I had a half-hour nap in the morning and fell asleep watching the news about five-thirty. The phone rang around 7:00 p.m. and I was startled to discover I had still been sleeping and was dreaming, in fact. So I suppose I’ll have a harder time getting to sleep tonight than usual.

I got in a lot of swimming these last few days and that always makes me more relaxed. One of the women at the pool tonight helped me to really appreciate what good health I have at this age. She is trying to recover from a badly broken leg and doing water exercise therapy with great difficulty.

Last night I was gratified to hear from so many people who missed my blog the two days it didn’t appear. If it happens again, attribute it to “Old Timer’s Disease,” unless I warn you that I’ll be gone. There is a trip to the beach in the planning stage for next week, so there may be a few missing days then.

My Quicken and my credit union ledger are seriously out of balance again. It always seems to be in my favor when that happens, but it would be nice to keep it on an even keel. I’ll have to spend some time on that tomorrow.
