Computer Hell

I’m still trying to find the password to get out of computer Hell. Ugh!! Ugh!! I believe we should stop trying to clone any humans other than computer nerds who can think the way computers do. I ain’t one.

You don’t want to hear all the problems I’m having trying to get my new equipment up and rolling. I don’t either. But I have a couple of good consultants and we’ll get it all worked out eventually, if I live long enough.

The good news is the flat screen monitor and my new desk arrangements. The short part of the bad news is that I have to find places to put all the stuff I moved off the desks. The long part is too long and boring.

My son-in-law Richard has spent hours already trying to help me find my way. My webmaster son Kurt has also been giving me advice. Richard moved all the furniture around for me today and the new setup is very comfortable, if only all the parts would work.

I’m trying to remember if I had this much trouble switching to Windows XP five years ago. Probably. Maybe it’s like having a baby, you forget the bad stuff.

Please picture me scowling at my lovely new screen and tearing at my hair and think good thoughts for me.
