Good Vibes

I’m feeling pretty good today. Sunday I had a wonderful visit with my son. Then my daughter called to say she’ll be taking a week trip with her best friend. Their husbands can’t get away, so the two of them will be visiting her friend’s relatives in Texas.

Lunch with my Kaiser weight loss program friends yesterday was very enjoyable. Today I visited Floyd and found him looking well and acting very alert. He’s just moved into a smaller studio apartment that looks very well arranged for him. He’s a little more stooped, but moving well. He still has his delightful sense of humor and smiled a lot.

So I got through a couple days of semi-nasty weather and now we are supposed to have sun again tomorrow. I was lucky enough to make my road trips between rain showers when the pavement was dry.

Tomorrow the Fall term of my writing class starts and I’m looking forward to that. I enjoy all my writing activities immensely. Most of the writers I meet, both amateur and professional, are fascinating people with great stories to tell. Now I’ve got to pick something I wrote this summer to take to class.
