Plunking the Keys

The last few days, I’ve spent a lot of time hunched over this laptop, editing web site entries. I’d like to think I’m making some headway, but in the last few years it appears I’ve written a lot of entries. It’s apparent the editing won’t be finished by the time my web master switches the site to the new service provider. It could very possibly take the rest of my life to get it done. We plan to make the switch on January 1st, to start the new year.

So tomorrow I need to prioritize before I continue the editing. I also need to write a new first page. Then I can proceed at a less frantic pace.

I’ll certainly have no lack of projects in the next year. The leftover sorting tasks may get postponed again. I do have to find time to work on memoirs soon.

My daily swim sessions save my sanity. Today the pool was around 89 to 90 delightful degrees. The spa should be open soon, possibly by the 1st, and that will definitely be good for what ails me.

Floyd is slowly recovering from the bug that’s been ailing him. We have tickets for the New Year’s Eve party next door and hope he’ll be feeling up to par by then.
