Shopping and Other Trivia

I guess I’m getting to be a pushover. I was looking at a blouse on a sale rack today and let another customer, not a clerk, talk me into buying it. Actually, I’m always looking for cotton blouses with long sleeves as this one has. At 60% off, it was a good buy even if I have to wait 8 months or so to wear it. I was shopping for a wireless card for my notebook computer, but got distracted on the way to that department. I did get the wireless card, anyway.

I also found the charger for my cell phone today. I just opened a door to the shelf where my silk neck scarves are and there it was, right in front of me. Now if I will just not move it again and can remember where it is, I may not lose it for another year or so. By then, I may have a new cell phone.

I got my swim in before dinner again. Since I managed to get through the day without a nap, now I’m hoping to stay awake until bedtime, but it’s pretty tough, after the exercise and the food.

I suspect Floyd will fall asleep watching the ball game, since he worked five or six hours today. He has an interesting project going so plans to work every day until he finishes it.

I need to get back to work on my memoir project and cut out the shopping expeditions. The “I’s” have it tonight. Every paragraph starts with one. How boring
