Snow JobsGoogle’s Analytics is a fun way to keep track of those who visit your website. It has more statistics than I ever need to know, but the ones I do want to see are really helpful. It’s fun to learn what countries and/or organizations are represented. You can also get a sneak peek at who may be planning a SPAM attack. At first, when I saw 6 visits from irs.org I panicked. I thought the IRS was spying on me. But I went to irs.org and learned that it’s a private website and the IRS uses irs.gov. I should have realized that. Perhaps irs.org is going to try to sell me some kind of tax services, who knows? I went to kartoo’s search engine the other day and noticed one of their resources for information about me reports my age as 83. I have no clue how to correct that, but did note that another source on their page lists my correct age. Life goes fast enough, guys! We have just enough snow to dust the area and make everything look clean this morning. More may arrive later, but we can do without it. My daughter reported that she and her husband both made it to work safely: he on the train and she by car. They have a bit more snow in their neighborhood, but the streets are clear. Since my son and his wife work from home, I shouldn’t have to worry about them, unless they have appointments elsewhere. All our streets were clear when Floyd left for a doctor’s appointment this morning. If we don’t get more snow by mid-afternoon, I’ll head out for a swim and a grocery stop. If we do, I’ll stay here and study my new computer equipment’s operating system. Our apartment is comfortably warm right now without a fire.
This evening I’ll attempt to listen to the president’s version of the State of the Union. It’s important that we hear his thoughts in answer to our question: “What were you thinking?”
