Sort of a Nothing Day

A recent assignment for members of our TOPS group was to write down something you’ve accomplished each day. We had a meeting this morning and, even though the actual meetings are only an hour and a half long, it seems to kill the whole morning.

I rushed home after the meeting to watch the President at a health care public meeting. Then it was lunch time and time to water plants on the deck. I totally forgot to dry the clothes I washed last night. In the summer, I try to dry clothes early in the morning before it gets hot.

After I dealt with the mail, I did some copy editing on software and took a short nap. I went to Super Cuts for a haircut and picked up groceries on the way. I came home and fixed some dinner. I didn’t even get to the pool today.

So I guess my big accomplishment for today was noting on the scales that I had neither gained nor lost weight—just maintained. Not very exciting
