Water Table/Ground Water

Thanks to the vast treasury of information on the internet, I just read about the above subjects. I didn’t understand a lot of what I read, but I’m convinced we have a lotta water around us in this complex. I’m told the rental office for the apartments was moved to the apartment across the street from me, because it kept flooding with water seeping in and creating problems for tenants.

As I’ve mentioned before, I recently purchased a dehumidifier and I’m still blown away by the amount of water it pulls out of the air here. I’m convinced if I hadn’t done this, I’d have a mold/mildew problem very soon. I’ve been here a year and probably should have bought one before now.

I ran the unit for less than eight hours today and the reservoir was full of water. I’ve wondered if I could use some of that water for plants or, if we have polluted air, is the water polluted? It seems wasteful to pour it all down the drain. Or does it come back around if I pour it down the drain? I don’t care to try to figure that out. This old brain has more important things to consider (such as where has all my energy gone?).

My friend of about the same age and I were talking about that in the pool the other day (our lack of energy, that is).  Now I know why Geritol used to sell so well. Today was a killer. I had a T.O.P.S. meeting in the morning, which I left early to go home to do a few chores and have some lunch. Then I went to the Clubhouse for a four-hour AARP Driver Safety course. The other four hours of the course will be tomorrow afternoon. At least I’ll have the morning free.

I need to work up some energy to get my writing moving forward again.
