Weather, Still Unbelievable

We had a lovely day today, riding down the valley with a young woman friend, who has chosen Floyd as her adopted uncle. We had a picnic lunch and were actually able to sit out in the sun for a while. She brought us a couple of candles she had made. She makes a variety of candles for sale, mostly out of beeswax. My favorite, sitting on my coffee table now, has African animals all around its surface. I probably won’t burn it at all.

The trip to Seattle is looming ever nearer, with dozens of things to be done before leaving. Tomorrow I have a lunch date, but may get a few things done before and after.

Skimming through the other blogs I read, I notice some of the writers are getting very wordy and I don’t have time to read them in detail. It must be the cooler weather and, in a few cases, rain that keeps them inside and at their computers for longer periods.

Anyway, I shall not be so wordy tonight and perhaps get some other things done.
