Ms. Clean

Somehow I just erased a whole page. That’s happened twice recently. I need to figure out what I did and not do it any more.

Today was clean the office day. Now all the papers and folders that were scattered around are in neat stacks. After a night’s rest, I’ll find homes for them tomorrow.
Part of the cleaning process was cleaning out unnecessary files in my computer, including an anti-virus program that seemed to have an anti-Barbara attitude. I’ve installed a free program AOL provides and have it running now, to see if it serves me better. Both the desktop and the notebook computers will have the same program. They are part of a network, so that should help smooth out operations.

A number of deaths in my immediate circle of relatives and friends in the last few months have slowed the work on my memoirs. Even good memories are, for now, bittersweet.

Instead, I’ve been dredging up many poems written over the years. Some have fallen out of my computer at various times when I’ve upgraded. When I can locate hard copies, I keyboard them back in. Some need revision and I’m working on those also. It’s amazing how many I don’t even remember writing. It almost makes me believe in automatic writing or channeling. Almost.
