Marching FasterMarch came in like a lion for me—not weather wise entirely, but loaded with necessary activities. Yesterday I took my laptop computer to a nearby computer clinic for a tune-up. The blue screen of death has been haunting me for weeks, so I hadn’t been using it lately anyway. Later in the day, I took my car to D.E.Q. for inspection and renewal of the registration. The Sherwood facility, although busy on a Friday afternoon, ran smoothly and I barely had enough time to dig out my insurance information and sign the forms while I was in line. My son-in-law has given me the opportunity to have home made videotapes I’ve saved over the years transferred to DVD’s. He has the equipment and capability to do that. So I’ve started looking through my collection to see what I might want to save indefinitely to pass on to family members, or just to pass them on now. Today I had to hurry and read the last chapters of a Barack Obama book to get it back to the library. For some reason, other readers are clamoring for it. Also, this coming week I will have cataract surgery on Thursday. My pre-op appointment is Monday and I have paperwork to complete for that. On Friday, I’ll have a post-op appointment also. So—busy, busy, busy. Ongoing writing projects fill in spare moments, if any. |
