Out of Sync

This computer probably hasn’t got the date right more than a half a dozen times this entire month and today is no exception. I had to correct it. That’s not why I chose the above title, but it fits also.

It seems like unexpected trips for medical services can really throw off a schedule and we’ve had a couple of those this month. Now I’m trying to get back into the rhythm of our usual daily activities.

Because I was so exhausted last night, we had half a very nice seafood dinner at Red Lobster and had the other half for lunch today. The broccoli was actually cooked and was delicious. I don’t dig crunchy broccoli, cold or hot. There is a happy medium for cooked vegetables and most times they are either under or overcooked, for my taste.

A trip to my own doctor yesterday afternoon kept me away from the pool and I couldn’t seem to drag myself down there last night, but I finally got back there this afternoon. It seems that, if I miss more than a day or so, I’m in danger of breaking the habit of regular exercise. Fortunately I timed my swim right and was leaving by the time a crowd started accumulating.

My doctor doesn’t really know why I had chest pains, either, but she gave me a prescription for nitro to carry around. That should insure that I’ll never have another such pain.

Tomorrow my son-in-law/electronic tech. will be here to move our television sets and DVD/VCR players around for us. It’s really great to have someone who knows what to do with all those wires.
