A Cure for Road RageYesterday when I was leaving a local grocery store, a grizzly bearded man in a white pickup behind me slammed his truck into reverse a few seconds after I started backing out. I waited until he was out of my way, smiling all the while. I thought to myself: You poor old geezer, you’d better hurry; you’re probably running out of time. If he saw my smile, I hope it either confused him totally or made him think I was flirting. Either way it could moderate his aggressive driving. I certainly wasn’t flirting; I wouldn’t ride with anyone who drives that way. That’s probably why he was alone.
