Saturday Night—Not Very Live

Not much excitement around here today. I did go out and lock my car after I heard a 1998 Honda Civic was stolen in King City last night. Car thieves seem to like Hondas. They must be easy to turn into cash. It seems to me in the old days thieves stole more expensive cars, but my memory could be failing.

There was a lot of figure skating on television today—my favorite spectator sport. In fact, it’s the only spectator sport I watch. I’m exhausted from mentally skating with all those nervous young gals tonight. As if, at any time in my life, I might have been capable of getting across the ice rink on my feet, even going forward with both feet on the ice. Roller skates were more my style and I did get so I could dance slightly on those, but not very well.

I’m looking forward to seeing the sun, if only momentarily, tomorrow. I’d like to tidy up the front flowerbed that is really bedraggled after all the wind and rain. I’m also hoping to be clear headed enough to work on some writing.

I lost the Kruger Park Webcam site and can’t get it back. I hope it’s just temporary, maybe offline for maintenance or some such thing. I’ll try again tomorrow.
