The Right Way, The Wrong Way, and the Hard Way

I don’t know why I have to do things the hard way. Just to be different, I guess. Putting life history together in a book gets pretty complicated when you have stories that span 75 years or so.

It would be easy to write a memoir in chronological order—well maybe not easy—but more simple than scattering various areas of a life throughout a story. I’ve written school stories, employment stories, and widely scattered other stories of marriages, family, etc. Organizing those creations in any sort of cohesive fashion is a real challenge, one I hope to be up to managing.

Trying to function with a head full of mucus and a gut full of cold tablets and cough drops is a challenge of another sort. I hope to whip whatever malady is afflicting me very soon and to get back to normal, whatever that is.

Meanwhile, I’ll plug away at my little stories.
