Miscellaneous Projects

Tonight I skipped swimming since my stomach’s been unhappy for about the last twenty-four hours. I’m trying to appease it with chicken soup. My energy level is low also. This morning I got a bit of unpacking done and spent time on the phone with communications providers. We shall see if any of the phone time produces results.

Al called and left a message this morning, as he neared his destination in Texas. He has already obtained a bit of the genealogical information he’s seeking, he said.

The last two nights the sky has looked smoky, but I haven’t heard about any serious fires nearby. I’ll check on the late news.

If I can psych myself up for it, I’ll go to the TOPS meeting here in King City tomorrow morning. Tomorrow afternoon is my critique group meeting. I still have travel logs that can stand some editing, so I’ll take those.

I found a letter from a penpal dated May 20th that had been filed in with some paid bills and, of course, not answered. That’s another project hanging fire.

So, I’ll wrap this up and get to work on pending projects.
