Revenge of the Nerds

Last night Norton Anti-Virus deleted three previously infected files and, alas, discovered one new one that is infected and unable to be fixed, quarantined, or deleted. And so I fear moving files from this infected machine to the new notebook computer.

It is my hope that Norton will find a cure for this one remaining sick file in the next week or so. I have a picture of teams of nerds crouched over computer terminals, creating new strains of viruses and similar teams attempting to devise cures. I wish I could draw so I could illustrate.

Dinner Tomorrow

We will have our family dinner celebration of Thanksgiving here tomorrow afternoon. Since we live in a manufactured home, even though it’s a double wide, it is not as spacious as many homes, especially in the dining area.

Our large table-small table combination with assorted chairs reminds me of young-married days when nothing matched. We rarely have large crowds here, so we’ve not accumulated a lot of matching dining room furniture.

Our dinner will, of necessity, be intimate. All of the people who will be here are fun and very adaptable. I’m looking forward to sharing their company for as long as they can stay.
